Terms of Use

This Terms of Use ("Agreement") governs access to and use of the Getzinfoz online platform and related services (the "Platform") by users ("Users") and service partners ("Service Partners"). The Platform is operated by Getzinfoz (referred to as "Getzinfoz", "we", "us", or "our").

This electronic Agreement is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, and other applicable laws. By registering for or using the Platform you confirm acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not register or access the Platform.

1. Nature of Services

1.1 Aggregator role. Getzinfoz acts solely as an aggregator that connects Users with independent, verified Service Partners. Getzinfoz does not itself provide the services advertised through the Platform.

1.2 Independent providers. All services on the Platform are supplied by third-party Service Partners who are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or franchisees of Getzinfoz.

1.3 Verification & consent. Service Partners are onboarded after document verification (for example, business registration, GST, identity and address proofs). User personal details are shared with Service Partners only after the User provides explicit consent when requesting or booking a service.

1.4 Payments through Getzinfoz. All service payments must be made through Getzinfoz’s official payment channels. Direct payments to Service Partners are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Getzinfoz.

2. Registration & User Responsibilities

• Eligibility: Users must be 18 years or older to register.
• Accurate information: You must provide and maintain accurate, current and complete registration details. Inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to suspension or termination of services.
• Account security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify Getzinfoz immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Permitted use: Use the Platform only for lawful purposes. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or abusive content; do not spam or manipulate ratings/reviews.

3. Service Partner Onboarding & Obligations

3.1 Onboarding requirements. Applicants seeking to join as Service Partners must submit required documents (business registration, GSTIN where applicable, identity proof, address proof, bank details etc.) and agree to Getzinfoz’s onboarding checks.

3.2 Partner obligations:

• Deliver services professionally, safely, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Accept bookings, quotations, and requests only through the Platform unless otherwise expressly permitted.
• Refrain from charging Users directly outside the Platform except where explicitly allowed in writing by Getzinfoz.
• Maintain required licenses, permits, insurance, and standards of service quality.
• Treat User data as confidential and use it solely for service delivery.

3.3 Non-compliance. Getzinfoz may suspend, withhold payments, or terminate partnerships where Partners fail to meet obligations, commit fraud, or act against Platform policies.

4. Payment & Commission Model

4.1 Payment collection. Users shall make all payments only to Getzinfoz via the Platform’s supported payment methods. Under no circumstances shall Service Partners solicit payments directly from Users unless explicitly authorized by Getzinfoz in writing.

4.2 Commission deduction. Upon receipt of payment from a User, Getzinfoz will deduct a pre-agreed service fee/commission (the "Service Fee"). The Service Fee percentage or fixed amount will be agreed with each Service Partner at onboarding and may be adjusted by mutual agreement or as notified in writing.

4.3 Settlement of balance. After deducting the Service Fee and any applicable taxes or charges, Getzinfoz will remit the remaining balance to the Service Partner’s registered bank account as per the settlement cycle agreed during onboarding.

4.4 Settlement timelines & disputes. Settlement timelines, minimum payout thresholds (if any), and dispute resolution procedures for withheld amounts will be specified in the Service Partner agreement. Getzinfoz may temporarily withhold settlement where fraud, chargebacks, or disputes are reasonably suspected until the matter is resolved.

4.5 Changes to fees. Getzinfoz may revise Service Fees or payment terms. Existing Service Partners will be notified and any changes shall be effective as per the notice terms in the partnership agreement.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

5.1 General rule. Payments are generally final. Refunds are exceptional and evaluated per case.

5.2 When refunds may be considered. Refunds may be issued where:

• The Service Partner fails to deliver the service as agreed.
• There is proven fraud or misrepresentation by the Service Partner.
• Other exceptional circumstances as determined by Getzinfoz.

5.3 How to request a refund. Users must submit refund requests to support@getzinfoz.com including booking details and supporting evidence within the timeframe set out in the Platform’s refund policy.

5.4 Processing refunds. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment source subject to payment provider rules. Where refunds require recovery from a Service Partner, Getzinfoz reserves the right to recover sums from that Partner’s future settlements or via other remedies.

6. Data Usage & Privacy

6.1 Ownership of content. All content on the Platform (text, images, logos, videos, software, designs) is owned by Getzinfoz or licensed to it.

6.2 Use of personal data. Personal data collected from Users and Service Partners is used to facilitate bookings, payments, onboarding, identity verification, fraud prevention and customer support. We will not share personal data with third parties except as necessary for service fulfilment or as required by law.

6.3 Security measures. Getzinfoz implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users should adopt good security practices and promptly report breaches.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Internal resolution. Users should first raise complaints via the Platform or by emailing support@getzinfoz.com. Getzinfoz will investigate and use reasonable efforts to facilitate a resolution between the User and the Service Partner.

7.2 External remedies. If a dispute cannot be resolved through Getzinfoz, the User may pursue legal remedies directly against the Service Partner. Getzinfoz’s role is limited to mediation and enforcement of onboarding obligations.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Getzinfoz shall not be liable for:

• The quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of services performed by Service Partners;
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages arising from use of the Platform or from services provided by Service Partners;
• Losses resulting from unauthorized account access unless caused by Getzinfoz’s gross negligence.

8.2 Monetary cap. Except where prohibited by law, Getzinfoz’s total liability under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

9.1 Getzinfoz may suspend or terminate accounts of Users or Service Partners for breaches of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activities, repeated customer complaints, or conduct detrimental to the Platform.

9.2 On termination, Getzinfoz may: (a) delete or deactivate accounts; (b) withhold pending settlements where fraud or dispute is suspected; (c) pursue legal remedies.

10. Modifications to Terms

10.1 Getzinfoz reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting a revised version on the Platform and/or by email to registered accounts.

10.2 Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu unless otherwise agreed in writing.
